   Coast Guard inducts first indigenous air cushion vehicle H-561 at Goa¹²³

   Inducted 18 June 2026 at Chowgule Shipyard, Goa. First of six air cushion vehicles ordered under a Rs 387.44 crore contract signed 24 October 2024. Built by Chowgule and Company on licensed Griffon Hoverwork designs with over 50% indigenous content.

   Coast Guard inducts ICGS Samudra Pratap, its largest ship⁴⁵⁶

   The Indian Coast Guard commissioned ICGS Samudra Pratap at Goa on 5 January 2026. It is the first indigenously designed and built pollution control vessel and measures 114.5 m.

   • Commissioned 5 January 2026 by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at Goa (not 23 December 2025)
   • Built by Goa Shipyard Limited, first of two pollution control vessels
   • Length 114.5 m
   • First indigenously designed and built pollution control vessel for the Coast Guard
