   VB-G RAM G first month: rural jobs nearly halve versus MGNREGS July 2025¹²³

   Official data as of 9 August showed the VB-G RAM G rural jobs scheme, in force since 1 July 2026, generated 7.67 crore person-days in July against 15.33 crore under MGNREGS in July 2025, a 49.94% fall; the rural development ministry said about 9 crore.

   Centre sets Rs 95,692 crore interim allocation for VB-G RAM G transition⁴⁵⁶

   Interim allocation of Rs 95,692.31 crore announced 9 June 2026. States Rs 92,550.17 crore, UTs Rs 1,291.52 crore, central administration and social audit Rs 1,850.62 crore. Based on 60% of FY26 MGNREGA allocations; Uttar Pradesh the largest at Rs 9,721.48 crore.
