Madhya Pradesh received Geographical Indication tags for Malwi potato (registrar notification dated 13 June 2026) and for Ratlam's Balam Kakdi cucumber and Ratlami Garadu purple yam, reported on 22 June. Ratlam district now holds four GI products.
