   A fire in a four-storey residential building in Vivek Vihar, Shahdara district, Delhi on 2 May killed at least nine people.

   • Fire broke out around 3.48 am on 3 May 2026 at a four-storey residential building (B-13, Vivek Vihar Phase-I), Shahdara, East Delhi
   • Nine people died, including an infant; a family of five was among the dead
   • 14 fire engines were sent; fire on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors; cause not confirmed, a suspected AC blast

   Fire in Palam, Delhi kills nine; Indore EV-charging blast fire kills seven⁶⁷⁸

   A fire on 18 March 2026 in a building in Palam, Delhi reportedly killed nine members of a family, while an EV charging point blast and fire the same day killed seven in Indore.

   • 18 March 2026: nine members of a family killed in a fire in a multi-storey residential-commercial building in Palam, south-west Delhi (single report; no source ties it to a metro station)
   • 18 March 2026: seven killed (some outlets say eight) in Indore when an EV charging point exploded outside a house and cooking gas cylinders blew up
   • Police Commissioner Santosh Kumar Singh described the Indore sequence; an expert panel and EV-charging SOP were mooted
